Scrambled

Probably my favorite place to eat downtown. Best omelettes and French toast I ever had. Service was great as well. Literally nothing here to complain about.

Julie is the greatest employee of all time. Me and the homie went to pick up some food we ordered online just to be informed that Scrambled does not have online ordering and that I'm a fool and ordered at a place like, 40 minutes away. Julie, with the aura of a divine angel, came in clutch and helped us order a nearly identical order for us and our wives and made sure to pack it super well for our walk back to the car in the crazy wind that day - all while they were experiencing a super busy breakfast rush. She was extremely kind, courteous, and helpful. This happened last month and I still think about it almost every day. Julie, thank you for being the GOAT. Cool little downtown spot. Right in the middle of downtown. Plenty do see and do when here. We stopped for breakfast on our way out of town. My skillet was delicious! Whatever they do with their gravy is delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try. You can sit indoors and people watch while you eat. You can sit in a "patio" area that is usually covered as well. My wife loves their french toast! My one and only complaint was how thin/small the country ham slice was. Outside of that, great visit!

Just go! If I could only pick one breakfast place in Roanoke, this is it! Enjoy that city vibe ambiance that hits all the marks. From the cozy outdoor seating option with its lights, plants, outdoor heating umbrellas with people strolling by downtown; to the intimate indoor seating; to the pancakes that is making French toast jealous. Plus, it has been consistent that no one that works there ruins the experience.

It was a very busy place, but we were seated in about twenty minutes. The food was excellent, and the diner has an overall good vibe.

Some of the best food I've had since being here. There is a husband and wife (one is a server and the other the cook) and they make this place worth every penny I spend here. The service is great, the bloody Mary excellent and OMGOSH the food.... So yummy.

One of our favorite breakfast spots in the area! My family and I love eating at Scrambled. The food is always delicious, service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is inviting. Additionally, the location is outstanding. After having a terrific meal you can spend the rest of the day walking around downtown Roanoke and visiting all of the shops and boutiques, along with the Farmer's Market (which is right across the street!).

The French Toast was outstanding! Reasonable prices and the atmosphere is a great mix of a diner and a southern comfort food restaurant. Very friendly and accommodating staff!
